Principal Appreciation Month at Livingston Classical Academy

October is Principal Appreciation Month and at Livingston Classical Academy we couldn’t be more excited to highlight our hardworking and dedicated administration for all that they do. We take pride in providing both a unique and wholesome education, and that starts with our leadership. We want to take this opportunity to celebrate our leadership and explain what makes them such an important piece of our community.

The first administrator we would like to celebrate this month is our school leader, Dr. Lisa Gillon. Dr. Gillon holds a Bachelor in Science in Education from Eastern Michigan University; a Masters in Science in Education from the University of Michigan, and an Education Specialist from Wayne State University. This year she also received her Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Lisa continues to amaze us with her dedication to her students and staff.

The second administrator that we are showcasing this month is our dean of students, Niki Werden. Mrs. Werden holds a Bachelors in Special Education from the University of Augusta; a Master’s in Special Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University; and an Education Specialist degree from Grand Canyon University.

Our leaders will always be a fundamental part of our school community, and we can’t thank their enough for their compassion, dedication and hard work. They serve as the backbone of our school, the ones inspiring change, and the mentors who shape our youth’s future. While this month may mark the official celebration, every day is an opportunity to recognize and support these outstanding individuals.
