I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Minor in Language Arts. I come from a background in retail management and teaching. I taught third grade for five years at Plymouth Scholars Charter Academy. I transitioned out of full time teaching to become a stay-at-home mom and focus on my family and two kids. I have been tutoring for the past seven years and began substitute teaching at LCA a few years ago. I now work at our church as the Kids Ministry coordinator.
I reside in Brighton with my husband, Dan, and our two children, John (5th grade) and Lilly (3rd grade). We came to Livingston Classical Academy because of the curriculum and moral standards. During the summertime, our family enjoys swimming, traveling and “glamping” in our RV along Lake Michigan!
Livingston Classical Academy (LCA) is a tuition-free kindergarten through 12th grade public charter school in Whitmore Lake, MI that is focused on classical education and open to ages 5 years old and up. LCA is a Hillsdale College Curriculum School.
