I am honored to serve as the Guardian Guild Treasurer and continue on the Guardian Guild Executive Board, after serving as President. My husband, Bryan, and I live in Salem Township and have three children who all attend LCA: Julia (7th), Natalie (6th), and Trevor (3rd). We are so grateful we were led to this community in January 2022, and I am so happy to give back.
After graduating from Seattle Pacific University with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I worked as a nurse in various hospital units for 10 years, prior to having Trevor. During the last three years, I served in leadership positions on my unit and on the hospital-wide Nursing Council. My nursing license is still active, and I continue to enjoy learning about health and wellness. While enjoying my years at home, I embraced leadership and service opportunities at church, in children’s ministry and women’s Bible studies. I love growing close-knit community with kids and adults alike.
A passionate lifelong learner, I love the essence of classical education—teaching our children how to think and becoming people of character to serve our communities. I absolutely love history, geography, civics, and traveling. During this last year, working at LCA as a substitute teacher, I have been called to continue my own education, and I am beginning a journey towards becoming a secondary social studies teacher. I am so excited to see where this new path leads!
