Meet Mrs. Lisa Gillon, your new principal!
After an extensive search and evaluation of multiple candidates, the Livingston Classical Academy board is pleased to announce the selection of our principal – Mrs. Lisa Gillon. Mrs. Gillon comes to the academy with 27 years of public and private school leadership experience, a warm heart for students and a strong dedication to leading our academy. She has served as a classroom teacher, curriculum director, principal, school board member, and has been actively involved in school accreditation. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University, Master of Arts in Education from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and Education Specialist degree from Wayne State University. She is an outgoing, dedicated educator who loves people and has a passion for students and learning.
“I am excited to join the Livingston Classical Academy community,” said Gillon. “I am committed to liberal arts classical education and look forward to partnering with the families, staff, school board and Choice Schools.”
Mrs. Gillon will begin on Monday, August 12.
Livingston Classical Academy is a Kindergarten through 12th grade tuition-free public school located in Whitmore Lake.
